Why Spend More On A Keurig?
Keurig Green Mountain coffee makers and coffee pods are more expensive than many traditional brewing systems, yet Keurig is all the rage. Why? It doesn’t get much easier (and less messy) to pop in a pod and have a fresh cup of joe in less than a minute.
The company is actively involved in many social and environmental projects and supports local and global communities by investing in sustainably-grown coffee. Be aware, however, that with the high price tags the Keurig coffee makers only come with a 90-day warranty.

Keurig K250 Plus Series is our pick for the best Keurig coffee maker for people on a budget who want larger serving size options (4 to 30 oz.) — and it’s only $10 more than the single-serve K55 model. The K250 model features a black-and-white LCD touchscreen, strength control settings, and a separate setting for specialty beverages such as hot cocoa, chai and mochas.
The removable water reservoir is located at the back of the machine and is smaller than the K55 model. This saves counter space but could be a turn off for some people.

Keurig K-Mini K15 Review
The Keurig K-Mini K15 coffee maker is an excellent solution if you want a Keurig but have very cramped kitchen space. You’re not going to get any bells and whistles — or really, any features — with this single-serve model. But if space is a significant concern for you, it’s worth considering. Most users say it quickly brews a great cup of joe.

Keurig K-Select Review
The K-Select is Keurig’s latest addition to its Classic Series. This model is a step up from the K55 (our winner for best budget Keurig). It shares the same basic features as the K55, but you also get a slightly larger reservoir, the ability to brew up to 12 oz., and a bold brew setting. Two major pluses with the K-Select are the ability to use third-party K-cup pods and a descaling alert that tells you when it’s time to clean your machine.

Keurig K475 Review
The Keurig K475 coffee maker is a less expensive high-end option than the K575 if you want a lot of brewing control. How does the K475 differ from the K575? The water reservoir is 10 oz. smaller, the touchscreen is slightly smaller, and you don’t get the platinum finish as an option.
This model also doesn’t have hot water on demand or a nightlight. And some users say it’s a bit louder than the K575. If these features don’t matter to you, save yourself $30 and go with the K475.
What’s the difference between the Keurig K425 vs K475 models? The K425 is an older model that’s significantly larger and more expensive than the current K475 model, but all the features are the same. You can still find the K425 from third-party sellers.

How To Make Iced Coffee With Keurig
How do you make iced coffee with a Keurig? We frequently came across this question while doing our research, so we wanted to pass this info along. Iced coffee is just as easy to make with a Keurig as a hot cup of joe. Follow these simple steps:
- Fill a plastic 12-oz. cup with ice. Tip: Don’t use a glass cup because it will break from the hot water mixing with the ice.
- Remove the drip pan.
- Place the plastic cup under the brewer.
- Choose one setting lower than you usually use — the ice melts and makes the strength and taste weaker.
- Insert your K-cup of choice and brew.
