Best Wine & Beer Fridge Combo: Magic Chef Wine & Beverage Cooler Review

Magic Chef Wine & Beverage CoolerView on Amazon

Don’t want to drop $800 to $1,000 on a wine and beer fridge for your home? We don’t blame you! This combination wine and beer cooler is much more affordable. It has dual temperature zones so you can set varying temperatures (39°-61°F) depending on the drinks inside. The stainless steel exterior is aesthetically pleasing, and this refrigerator can be built-in or freestanding.

It has a digital beveled display, which can be viewed through the door to see what your temperature settings are. Unfortunately, some buyers have experienced issues with this refrigerator, but the one year warranty should help with any manufacturing issues. And for what it’s worth, all the other combo refrigerators we looked into had similar issues as well, at least this one is half the price.

Pros

Cons

  • Upper zone holds up to 16 bottles or 63 cans and lower zone holds up to 28 bottles or 77 cans
  • Dual temperature zones (39-61°F)
  • Great value
  • Sturdy
  • 1-year warranty
  • Some complaints of temperature not holding, especially on the lower end

We just bought a new home that has a wet bar with an ice maker currently but hoping to remove it and replace with a wine fridge. I have noticed in my research on these that the sizes vary quite a bit, so if you don’t have a bar custom built for your fridge then it’s not one sized fits all.
