Whether you wear high heels like me or you just love a relaxing massage at the end of a hard day, we all deserve a foot rub. Depending on the foot massager you choose, it could cost as much as a one-time massage with an actual person. You could actually save money by purchasing an at home foot massager (and get a massage more often).

Why Should I Get A Foot Massager?

If you have circulation problems a foot massager is a must for you. Whether it’s diabetes, ALS or plantar fasciitis a foot spa can improve your health. You don’t have to be diagnosed with an illness to take advantage of one of these.

Read our best foot spa machine reviews in this article. We’re sure these massagers won’t turn you down when your dogs are barking.

HoMedics Triple Action Shiatsu Foot Massager Review

HoMedics FMS-270H#1

View on Amazon

The HoMedics FMS-270H foot massager gives you a Shiatsu-style massage and has heat that can be turned on and off, which is why it’s our pick for the best heated foot spa. Simply place your feet on the machine and let it do its magic and receive the best home foot spa massage. People love this massaging foot spa and many of the reviews we’ve read are from people who are on their feet all day (e.g. nurses, assembly line workers, etc.).

A few people have complained of the massager hurting their feet the first time, but we recommend giving it a few tries before making a decision. Most of those people have said it was painful because their feet were so sore but after a day or two, they started feeling great. We recommend wearing socks with this massager since the heat and kneading may be sensitive on the skin. Because customers rave about the performance of the HoMedics FMS-270H, we have ranked it as the best foot spa in this article.

Tip: Some people use this as a calf massager too and lay their legs across the machine and love it.

Pros

Cons

  • 6 rotational heads
  • 18 massage nodes
  • Toe-touch control
  • Deep kneading and heat soothes feet
  • Massages the ball, heel and arch
  • Heat can be turned on or off
  • Inexpensive for the quality
  • Works great at the computer or working on homework
  • People love using it after they’ve been out in the cold
  • Cannot sit in a more relaxed position since this lies flat, but you could place a book or board underneath it to angle it some

Human Touch Reflex-4 Review

Human Touch Reflex-4#2

View on Amazon

The Human Touch Reflex-4 foot massager doubles as a calf massager too. Users have said that it has improved their circulation. The company says it benefits those with fibromyalgia, plantar fasciitis, circulatory issues, diabetes, varicose veins and more.

This massager is great for those who spend a lot of time on their feet, similar to the HoMedics foot massager above. Overall, we think this massager is great but it’s quadruple the price of our #1 pick, which is why it’s ranked lower.

Pros

Cons

  • Massages in a figure 8 pattern
  • Rolls out feet as well as calves
  • Floor protectors keep unit in place
  • Four programs: Shiatsu 1, Shiatsu 2, Relax and Refresh
  • Removable and washable sleeve inserts
  • Adjustable tilt
  • Expensive
  • No heat function

Conair Foot Bath and Heat Massager Review

Conair Foot Massager#3

View on Amazon

This Conair Conair Foot Bath and Heat Massager is our third place pick for best foot massager because it offers a foot detox, unlike the others. It combines heat and vibration to water to give you the spa experience.

It includes a massage attachment as well. Since this massager includes water, you can add a therapeutic foot soak to the foot bath detox. For example, this tea tree oil foot soak is a blend of Epsom salt, sea salt, MSM, tea tree oil and six additional essential oils and it can help soothe your tired feet.

If you’re looking for a detox foot bath, this is a great option.

Pros

Cons

  • Combines heat and vibration with water
  • Add essential oils and other ingredients to make the foot bath more soothing
  • Inexpensive
  • Water doesn’t stay warm for some
  • Most people have said this is a “decent” foot massager

I tore my achilles heel playing tennis and my foot will often get swollen after long periods of time standing on it or in the heat. I usually elevate it to alleviate the pain but am going to ask my doctor if I can get one of these as it sounds amazing!
