Best Beard Growth Oil Review
Many men swear by beard oil as the best way to grow and maintain a healthy beard. While there are tons of beard oils on the market, the best contain organic ingredients that work by improving the growing conditions on your face. Oils that contain toxic or harsh ingredients lead to skin irritation and dryness, which stops growth in its tracks.
Beard oil is essential for hydrating your skin, hair follicles and facial hair. How do you use it? Massage a dime-sized amount into your beard and leave it in (no rinsing or washing). Use the oil daily for the best results.
Beard oils are the most popular for growth, so we chose the top three out of the dozens upon dozens on the market. We also took into consideration best beard oil for stubble and other types of products to maintain your beard’s look after our top picks.

Great review Sally, very comprehensive. Before I decide on a beard oil, I’m trying to find out one last thing – do you know which ingredient is best for making beards softer and less coarse? And my follow-up question would be if you had to rank these in order of softness capabilities, would the rankings change?
For the most effective softening ingredient, we’d recommend a beard oil that contains either Jojoba or Argan oil (added vitamin E helps too). All three of our top picks in this review are great solutions for softening. I would go by the rankings as they are for beard softening with Prophet and Tools being the best for softening and Leven Rose a close second.
My husband insists on keeping his beard (even though I’ve tried unsuccessfully for him to get him to shave for years) so a las, I must at least try to make sure his beard is healthy and looking good.
