Fabletics has an optional subscription-based pricing called VIP Memberships. This is similar to other monthly subscription services, such as meal delivery kits, wine clubs, and coffee boxes. My Experience With Fabletics
I signed up for Fabletics several times when the brand launched. I wanted cute, affordable athletic wear, and Fabletics fit the bill. However, I wasn’t a fan of the subscription-based pricing. I wanted to avoid keeping track of a VIP membership and getting charged monthly because I forgot to skip the month. I’m not the type to buy new clothes each month, so it felt excessive to me.
The Fabletics leggings were my favorite. They’re thick, and I can easily use them for working out, running errands, or going out. They stay in place great. However, the waistband stretched out over time, which was frustrating. But it was a great option for what I needed at the time and the budget I had at that point in my life.
Fabletics vs Lululemon vs Vuori
I’ve purchased primarily leggings and joggers from Fabletics, Lululemon, and Vuori. Vuori is my favorite activewear brand, but the pieces are more expensive than Fabletics. Here’s what each company’s strengths and weaknesses are.

Some of the best-selling Fabletics men’s pieces are joggers, slim-fit pants, and seven-inch shorts (among many other pieces). Fabletics has really expanded its sizing options for women but could still expand their men’s sizes.
For example, my husband (who is 6’5″) purchased some of their pants in the past, and they weren’t long enough. Although they now offer tall options, they’re not as long as some men need. My husband wears a 36″ inseam, but 34″ is the longest inseam for pants and 32″ for joggers. So, if you’re a taller man, you may need to shop elsewhere for pants.
Fabletics Pants Review
Fabletics’ leggings, joggers, and pants are all some of the women’s favorite pieces. They’re often on sale two for $24, which is an insane deal for the quality you get. Fabletics also has more trendy, casual bottoms like cargo pants. The different colors and additional features like shiny material, high-waisted, seamless, and more allow you to express yourself through your clothing.

Let me just say, a lot of these reviews are very misleading. Their clothing is great quality for the price, Ive made about 5 orders. Never once have I had a problem with quality or an order being cancelled or taking forever to deliver. Also its clear as day when placing an online order theyll charge for a membership fee, so I dont understand how people say theyre getting scammedIf you dont want the membership just cancel it online right after placing the order, its not that difficult. *** joined the membership program 5 different times so I can get the new member deals and never once have I been charged for it. I understand some people may have different experiences but I believe some of these reviews are made by ignorant people that want to complain due to their lack of due diligence and disregard for paying attention.

Negative
The amount of options offered for people who like basic colors is slim to none with size availability. I got a subscription with fabletics years ago because I love it, but there’s never anything in stock anymore and I keep getting charged for my VIP membership fee when there’s not anything I like in stock. The company has gotten too focused on celebrity lines and forgot about the customers that got them where they are now. And the import tax is RIDICULOUS. Just placed my last order of something I don’t even want just so I can be done and cancel my membership. Fabletics just isn’t what it used to be.

I bought a pair of pants a year and a half ago and apparently I also signed up to be a VIP members. I never had the intention and having now gone back a looked at the site, it is intentionally very unclear that you are signing up and they make it very difficult to check out without signing up. I was then charged $1,129 in membership fees I never knew I signed up for. When I called to complain I was hung up on the first time, placed on a long hold the second, and then told “their system” would only allow a partial refund.
This business model is clearly shady and deceptive and quite likely illegal. Amazon is currently being sued by the FTC for a similar membership scam. I have reported to Fabletics the Better Business Bureau and FTC and hope action is taken against them soon. Needless to say, do not buy anything from a company whose main business practice is deception.
