Hey guys, I’m new to driving for Lyft, anyone have any tips they can share? What are the best times to drive, what if someone cancels? How often do you get paid and how? I’m nervous but excited to try being on the other side!

I love driving for Lyft, it usually pays better than Uber but sometimes the app has issues and will relocate drivers causing lots of cancelled rides. And while Uber tends to dominate, Lyft is starting to take off/grow in bigger cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Washington DC so it really depends on where you live. Riders are usually nice and have lots to share if you ask how they’re doing. Hope that helps and good luck with your ride sharing driving adventure! (PS – be careful for drunks, ha!)
