Healthcare.gov vs eHealthInsurance – What is the Difference?

It looks like both eHealthInsurance and Healthcare.gov were created from the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), but I’m wondering if there is a difference between the websites?

The biggest difference is the number of policies that you are going to find at each site. According to this PDF from January 2015, eHealthInsurance offered 6,249 plans and the government site offered 4,287. So perspective applicants can expect to find more offerings through eHealthInsurance.
